Hi,

I am looking into the MME Select with confort/appearance package.

it comes with 19" wheels with aero covers.

Personally, I find these aero covers ugly.

Is it possible to take them off? is there anyone that has a picture of it without covers?

Thanks to all!

If they are anything like the ones on the California Route 1 trim you have to remove the lugnuts to get them off.

Thanks JamieGeek.
You're probably right.

Anyone attempted this and have a pic of how it looks without these aero covers?

Thanks.

Ugh, really? That feels like an oversight - surely they figured some people might only want them on on long road trips when the range actually matters, the rest of the time they'd like seeing the wheel underneath?

Well, I got my answer...

I asked my dealer to take off the plastic aero cover.

It's actually not a good option! there are "clips" and other things.
These mags are not meant to have no aero cover.

check for yourself here...

So, I am looking for aftermarket mags!

Ford Mustang Mach-E take out aero covers? ma

If you decide to sell those (along with the aerocovers), drop me a line. I like the efficiency of my route 1 aeros, but the solid matte black is ugly as sin.

Wow, those look good (except the need for a center cap). I've been planning to have the covers taken off after my long road trip in September because I don't want to hurt efficiency too much. If you have a chance to post the effect to efficiency that would be nice to know

Keep looking around. Owners that swap out the better OEM wheels/tires sell them off. They're usually listed on eBay or FB. Check tire stores in CA too. they can be shipped.

I sure hope the GT ones aren't this hard to take off and not as ugly inside.

Yeah not bad right? I wouldn’t mind buying new wheels for the rig but saving $1,000+ is also very attractive.
