Talk me out of the Space Grey interior

I am deciding between the Select w/Comfort and Technology Package and the Premium. I am happy with the SR RWD, I don't care about the moon roof or sound system but I do want all of the techy bells and whistles. I do like the looks of the Space grey interior a lot better and that is making me lean Premium. I'd also like the shorter Select order time. Is the Space Grey interior worth it?? (Ice Blue exterior if that makes a difference)

Only thing I say is make sure you see the light color in person. I opted for the black because when I saw the space grey in person it was way too light for my taste.

things, including bad guys, cannot hide with light interiors. Except dirt - it does not show as much with s grey
We even bought grey carpeting (mats, custom fit), front and back
looks great always

Another vote for the light interior here! It is indeed a very light grey, not a true white, but not a beige or cream either. I find it easy to keep clean, the toddler has yakked on it a few times already and you can't tell, everything just wipes right off it.

I think it makes the interior look more open, and feels cooler in the summer. I'm happy with it and wouldn't go back to black if I had the option to change.

Haven’t seen it in person; but the one I have coming in a few days is the gray interior. One of the only reasons I waited for my order rather than buying one on the lot; seems like everything is always black interiors. It couldn’t be hot pink for all I care; Black interiors make me feel like I’m riding in a limousine ?

My test drives were all in a Black exterior with the Space Grey interior.
I Personally couldn't stand it, the contrast was too much for me, and I like the dark interior.
I have a Dark Matter Grey with the black interior
Wouldn't change my mind for anything.
That being said...

Get what you want! Its your car.
And i second everyone saying to go with the Premium, its worth it!

Good point. Although I did think the space gray on the website was closer to real than many of the exterior colors…

Went into the dealer this week to order my car, space white and black interior. ordered the Grabber Blue with the grey interior instead.

I got Star white with black interior. I came with Carbon accents. I like it, but I would have bought the gray if it was on the lot because the two tone looks killer!

The white interior is one of the things I loved about Tesla when I was looking at Model 3/Model Y a couple years back. I was so glad that the MME had the space gray as an option, and that's what I went with. No regrets, I love it. I think it helps to open up the interior and it's a nice change from the standard black interior that most cars have. I can't speak to longevity/durability from personal experience, but I don't have kids so wasn't a huge concern for me. On occasions I go hiking, camping, scuba diving, etc, I can throw a towel over the seat.

Congratulations! I think you’ll be happy with the Premium decision. I think resale will be a little better. I don’t really care about the pano roof but plan on making someone else drive me around occasionally so I can sit in the back and enjoy it! ?
