Yes, I realize that but almost always it helps the shareholders because it goes up after the split. I don’t know why but it just does. So where my stock is currently around $900 a share and after split it will be $300 there is a good chance for a gain, go figure.

It only goes up because some individual investors aren't bright enough to understand that the price changing is meaningless and they bid up the stock. Irrational exuberance personified.

Which hopefully makes me some money which is why I’m happy to own a small amount of Tesla stock right now.

This was very true in 2019. You are a few years behind. Tesla now is a money printing machine, raking in more than F or GM.
