There's been talk about AM Radio on here as well as FM and SXM.

Turns out that to get Netflix on your older Tesla, you lost AM, FM, and SXM and it's now $500 to get FM and SXM back. AM is gone for good.

But at least you can watch Netflix when you aren't, you know, driving. ?????????????????????????????

But you get Netflix! And we know from other threads on here that clearly Netflix is a critical feature for any car to have. Because nobody has phones or tablets or data plans in 2020.

So, you know, completely reasonable trade-off.

By the way, the best part of all of this to me is Tesla's answer about why it's another $500 - to save people that don't use the functionality money.

Because we all know FM and SXM tuners are normally $500. ???????????????

You missed it because there's like a billion posts a day now and searching for something like "AM" is not productive. And you have a life, I bet. ?

Its scary to think that some other autos might do the same.
There needs to be an update in regulations to prevent stuff like this from happening
