- 2016 Volt with Mach-e on order
If you live in an apartment without access to an L2 plug, then you could be using the supercharger several times a month. If your needs exceed 76kwh per month (about 450 km) to make the subscription worthwhile. That subscription price is stupid. I mean I guess you break even after well under a full charge from empty for a mach e, but still. I thought EA's $4 monthly pass was a stupid price ("paid for" when you charge 40 kWh worth). It'd only ever be a thing if I could turn it on/off on a per month basis, and to be honest, just auto-turn-it-on when I pass that fee's savings in a single charge session (or track it centrally and turn it on when I pass it over multiple sessions... without autorenew in either case).
