Unfortunately you need to boot windows to bare metal, so a VM will not work. I tried a number of times and methods, but the license always fails to activate - the software looks like it is using some method to determine if it is in an emulated environment and then refuses to activate. Bootcamp on an Intel mac does work since you can boot directly to Windows, but Parallels will not work.Will the updates/FDRS work on a mac running parallels (my Macbook pro is an M1 and cannot bootload)?
Time to get a cheap Windows laptop...
