I was going to do a FDRS update for the GWM module this afternoon and just received 4.1.1 OTA. I think that was the GWM file. I’ll probably get 4.1.2 OTA in the next few days.

Hi,

i just run the last GWM update with no issue.
However i still have a problem:

HS2, HS3, HS4 and MS CAN networks not responding to FDRS and modules on these networks fail the network test. Modules on the FD1 and HS1 networks will communicate with the FDRS.

I have run the GWM configuration application with no success.

I have the Mongoose plus Ford2

Any idea / suggestions?
Thanks

Honestly, I don't have any suggestions as I haven't heard of that happening before.

Have you contacted OPUS?

This is after updating? After doing certain updates I'll have a bunch of nonresponsive/uncommunicative modules that won't clear. Driving around for 5 minutes then retest/reclearing usually works.

I got 4.1.1 last month and then nothing for maybe 1-2 weeks. I ended up going in with FDRS and was offered the APIM update that way.
Of course, things could have changed by now, but I don't know if assuming 4.1.2 is right around the corner will be right. The Ford scheduling team seems to spread the batches out over a long time period.

4.1.3 is out, I wonder if this was the GWM update that popped up after the APIM update that brought us to 4.1.2?

I think it was.

I just configured a captive portal on my network at home.

When connecting to the network the configured captive portal is displayed. I am able to accept the terms and enter a password to get online.

And then I get a success message and connectivity once connected.

Always nice to see a fellow Unifi user and to know if I ever get the new UI, maybe I can get it off my IOT subnet. 😁

Not too shabby. Maybe one day Electrify America will get a clue, and realize it can offer Wifi (with a captive portal screen now) while you charge.

I saw that, I would expect 4.1.3 to be a TCU update since it involves WiFi.
Wasn’t there another update a long, long time ago that had something to do with Wi-Fi and allowing us to connect to hotspots and something else that involved the pop up window? I’m just wondering if @kdonnel experiment is because of that older update and not related to 4.1.3.

Problem solved ! FDRS / TCU module configuration fixed the modules HS2, HS3, HS4, MS not been detected. All modules are now green :)
Waiting for new APIM.....
