Yesterday morning after unplugging my 2021 Standard model AWD standard range HVB model "SVS". It 's appearance slapped me like my second wife would do to me while engaging in playful bickering. Oh... feel the burn! After readig all the anecdotal accounts of the HVBJB failures posted on this very forum, I decided to 911 my Mustang to the dealer before the fatal "SSN" morphed. "Slow and steady" was my mantra as journeyed 21 miles to my home dealer . I must admit that my heart rate was elevated during the ride to the dealership. We want to avoid a tow like it were the Monkey Pox virus.
This BEV was purchased in late June 2021. I was hooked on this vehicle from the first test drive. I continue to enjoy my MME to this very day in spite of its shortcomings. Some of my friends and family are not aligned with the EV concept yet and that opens up the avenues of skepticism and ridicule.
The MME is at the dealership now. After downloading the error codes via an OTA query the service manager informed that they would accept the vehicle for analysis. He also stated that the vehicle would sit in the queue for at least two days due to the volume of customers. " Your Expected Wait Time is .......Two days"! I also inquired as to the availability of a loaner vehicle. "I'm sorry but there are non available". So I followed the advice of MR. Mach N Cheese and decided to file a case @ the home office located in Dearborn, MI. I have direct contact information via email with an official case number. The Customer experience specialist stated that they would arrange with the dealer a rental with reimbmbursement of the cost upon comletion of the required repairs. I must say that that process was relatively painless.

MY THOUGHTS:

Impending doom for the HVBJB
Possible degradation of the 12 volt battery

THE FACTS:

"12 Volt Battery Fault - Service Soon" on two separate incidences occurring days prior to most recent event.(The exact dates have slipped out of memory)
Flashing amber lights illuminated on the charge port on the first (of two) "12 Volt Battery Fault - Service Soon" events.
SVS warning appearing after the first power up cycle on the morning of August 18, 2022.
"Powertrain Malfunction Message appearing in the Message Center of the Fordpass App.
Safely delivered to the dealership on its own power.(That counts as a battle victory)
Ford Motor Company issued to me a case Number and direct contact information

SO.....that being stated i am opening the discussion and comments after this portion of the latest FORD MUSTANG MACH E TALES show.
Thanks for your thoughts and comments.

After being at the dealership for one week my Mustang Mach e was released to me in its pristine state of health. The following is a true story and names are not used to protect the innocent.
On Thursday the service manager informed me that there was a Mach e in the EV stall and that I would be placed in the queue. On Friday(day #2 at the dealership) the service manager informed me that my BEV was next in line but made no promises that the techs could troubleshoot on Saturday. A weekend of mental torture ensued.
After Monday passed I texted the service department and was told to hang in there as the status of my vehicle was unknown. In the meantime I was poking around the net and to my surprise discovered that FOMOCO issued yet another recall. This latest recall involved the BECM.
Tuesday passes slowly and toward the end of the day I received a voice mail from the service manager who apologized for not responding to me in a timely manner. He also informed me that he would reach out to me at some time the following morning.
On Wednesday while I was hiking in the Salmon River State Forest with my trust pal Lucy, the service manager calls to inform me that they can release to me my Pony in which al systems are now nominal after some internal reprogramming and the BECM recall software patch was applied.
Giddy up!
I will admit that I don't understand the technical side of this fix. That is why I consider this forum invaluable. Thanks to everyone for the input and encouragement that you provide.

It sounds like they just clear edthe error codes and updated some modules (probably for the HVBJB recall) which is what many dealers fo but thst doesn't necessarily mean they identified or addressed the root cause if that is hardware related.

The HVBJB recall was performed via OTA a few weeks ago. There is a current recall on the BECM that the dealer performed during this visit. It appears that the tech "Checked OASIS to verify TSB 22-2264 applies, reprogrammed OOCM per TSB instructions."

Yeah that doesn't sound right. You should try and see if someone on the forum can still see the DTC codes your car had. The SVS code can actually be cleared using any OBD reader.

I bet you'll be visiting that or another dealer soon unfortunately.

Diagnostic Test Code. These provide technicians insight into hardware failures.
