Rather than making a bunch of individual posts about how I will mod my GT, I figured I’d go ahead and start a single thread where I can catalogue changes/additions and general misadventures with my DMG GT-PE.
So Here we go.

Only one change in the first week and that is new tires. I went ahead and purchased new wheels with them for convenience of summer / winter tire swaps.

I have ordered in a bunch of vinyl samples to help choose a stripe color. Dark Matter Grey to me seems to lean a bit toward blue (almost infinite blue in some lightings). So I’m just not sure exactly what color I want.
I am really digging this gloss anthracite grey metallic.

Maybe with a red pinstripe to set it off.

I really don’t care of how matte films look with this color. And the Gloss Black just didn’t sit right with me. Or at least not as well as the anthracite.

First little changes today. Covered the visor warning stickers with some headliner fabric and hid my EZPass transponder with a black silicone skin. The dark headliner looks so nice with the black interior. The white EZPass and the garish warning stickers were killing the vibe.

then cut a paper template of the size. Cut the material and apply over the top. The fabric already has 3M adheasive on it.

I like that EZ-Pass skin. Where did you find it? Do they have them for the smaller profile units, too?

Received another vinyl sample for stripes today. Matte burgundy. I kinda like it and ordered a gloss sample roll as well.

some green pin-striping for accent? Looks good. Not sure I’m sold on it. But I do like it with both the anthracite and the gloss black.
Then the wild stuff is starting to show. A gloss color shift black to purple depending on the lighting. After I polish, I may have to actually lay this down for a real test.
