The four door mustang!

As I was leaving Lowes this past Sunday, I overheard one of the friendly Lowes people saying "...look, it's that four door mustang". As I got into mine she yelled "love your car!" I waved and smiled. Then it occurred to me - are there people out there that think the "four doorsness" is the only interesting thing about the MME?

I've had my MME for 15 months and the neighbor 2 doors down just got a Tesla Model Y. I went over to him and said, "Welcome to the EV club." He looked at me quizzically and said, "Wait, what? Your car is electric?"

Well, a Mustang having 4 doors is probably the most polarizing aspect of the Mach-e. If everything else was the same, it would have been better received by the traditional mustang community as a Coupe.

If it were a two door coup I wouldn't have bought one. I've owned 5 Mustangs and I'm done with slithering down into the seats.

I'm waiting for an ICE Mustang owner to go with "that's not a real Mustang" - to which I will respond "Yea, you're right - this one's faster off the line"

Should've called it a Cougar, or even a Thunderbird.

If you squint, you can see Mustang, but the gearheads are confused easily...

Eh, Ford named it, and Ford has the copyright to the name with regard to automobiles. It isn’t a Ponycar but it is a Mustang (althought I refer to mine as “The Mach-E” or “The Blueberry”).
