IP buzz is present, but at a low enough level that I would not have noticed it if it weren't for reading about it.
Haha. Same here; fortunately my memory is worse than my hearing and most days I forget it's even an issue. Congrats! Always neat to find another Ohio MME owner.

I finally figured out why my open on approach is acting off. I’ve got the glitch where I need to open another door before the drivers door will open.
The exterior lock button on the drivers side doesn’t work either, passenger side is ok. Walk away lock does work well and so does pressing the bottom two numbers on the touchpad, so that one isn’t that big of a deal to me.

I think those are the only two little things I’ve noticed so far. Seems like a software update should fix those.

Nope - I'm down in the Cincinnati area. Finally starting to see a few cars around here, which is also pretty neat.

Sounds like it’s getting closer. Hopefully next week for you.

You might have already checked this out, but I got a quote from CarMax, on Edmunds.com, for my 2019 Jeep Cherokee. They offered $2K more than Carvana and Vroom. I had it verified at the Sawmill location, and did the deal. Very smooth and fast.
So this is crazy. I uploaded all of the info to Carvana today, including the odometer picture. I had gotten the initial quote estimating 93000 miles, giving me some buffer since I didn't know exactly when the MME would arrive. Today's mileage is 91900. Carvana emailed back saying that since the actual mileage was more than 1000 miles less than quoted, they needed to requote. The new offer is $4000 *less* than the original. I even pulled the original quote and confirmed that I didn't have a typo in the mileage, it is in fact 93000. I'll call them tomorrow for an explanation. Looks like it might be going to CarsAndBids.com.

Crazy…less miles! Something must have happened to the demand for it.

I forgot to tell you that I had a 2012 CTS wagon. It was a very cool car. I really liked it.

how was your experience buying at germain in Cbus? I have a grabber blue GT coming in hopefully in October there. Hearing all the stories of dealers adding ADM and just paranoid they might do the same.

Wow! That is so crazy cool. They only made around 7000 of the wagons, I think, so for 2 people in Dublin to have one and then switch to a MME has got to be pretty slim odds.

I drove the MME to Chillicothe and back today, somewhere around 160 - 170 miles round trip. I charged it to 95% before, still had 32% when I got home. The GuessOMeter is just now approaching 270 miles on a full charge. I'm planning a 200 mile round trip on Monday, so this was a nice verification that I shouldn't have any trouble, not that I was really worried based on my average consumption of 3.7 mi/kWH so far.

I rescheduled my dealer visit for the driver's door not opening until another door is opened. When I dropped it off, they told me that the off-site scheduler had booked 17 cars for their electronic specialist for that same day. They rebooked me for Wednesday morning specifically in their Electronics Bay.

We took our first road trip to Traverse City, MI yesterday. I used the built-in nav system, which had me stop twice. I charged to 100% overnight, in a parking garage, equaling 308 miles of range. It’s doing very well on range!

I verified that Germain would not charge ADM on my order before I placed it. I have no idea if they are/would charge ADM on dealer stock. (I would if I were them.)
The buying process was painfully slow, and I was tired, hungry, and cranky when I finally left after 3 hours. No ADM was charged, but they no longer accept X Plan.

I'm still working out one final detail - the $500 deposit I put down when I ordered hasn't been straightened out yet. I spent over 3 hours at the dealership, and I was tired, hungry, and cranky when it was all done and it slipped my mind when I was finally signing all the paperwork. I'll get that done this week sometime, I hope. They did not attempt to sell me any extended warranty, nitrogen in the tires, Lo Jack, interior protection package, etc, which was nice, but I suspect that was in part due to the finance manager also being tired, hungry, and ready to go home. He was pulling out of the parking lot seconds after I finished signing the paperwork.

Hopefully they will be better staffed when you pick up yours. There were only 2 sales reps working when I picked mine up. They had just gotten their first new Bronco (not Bronco Sport), so the other rep was on test drives pretty much the whole time, and my rep kept getting pulled away to help other customers.

I had a list of things to check - instrument panel buzz, panel fit, paint quality, pano roof alignment/wind noise, rear hatch kick to open, tire pressures, ride quality - but I didn't have "Verify $500 order deposit shows up in final paperwork" on it. Dammit.

Thanks for that write up. I have had an ongoing email thread with my sales guys there and he’s said they will honor msrp and x plan. Now I’m thinking it’s just a bunch of crap if they are not accepting X plan anymore. He also won’t give me payment details which is frustrating. He claims they can’t because there are no GTs out yet, but I’m not asking for anything different than msrp. Not sure why he just won’t use the numbers available on fords site and then factor in tax, title, etc.

I hate the car buying process.Honesty I’m ready to walk if they pull any of that on me and I’ll buy a model y. I love the look of the Mach-e and I especially LOVE the grabber blue color though.

good luck getting your deposit back. I think I’ve read others have had to contact Ford directly and have them contact the dealer to get things rolling. Hopefully you don’t have to go that route though and they don’t give you too much hassle.

also I think you stumbled on a good car buying strategy! Show up just before close so the finance guy is ready to leave and maybe they won’t try and push a bunch of markup items on! Lol.

I had 2 different reps tell me that they stopped participating in X plan a few months ago when inventory dried up. But, I was told that they might be able to honor it if it was agreed to at the time I placed the order. I was not eligible then, though, and I didn’t ask about it until just before delivery.

I had a saved voicemail stating that they would not charge ADM on a customer ordered car, just in case I needed it, but it was not an issue. They told me that they will charge ADM on a dealer ordered car in certain cases, but back in December they were only doing that on a Shelby. Given the shortages now, they may be adding more ADM vehicles, but they were pretty clear that they wouldn’t do that on a customer ordered car. This may have changed, but it never came up in my case.
