Other automakers? Who??While Tesla and other automakers have offered OTA updates for years
I would *assume* that Alexa's voice recognition algorithms would be better than the built-in Ford ones... I also assume that Alexa would require some connectivity (sounds like it given the "free trial") - not sure that Ford's does?Other automakers? Who??
Edit: I don't get the Alexa update? You can already ask for "Weather" and it will show you??
Perhaps the use case is that this would be something you do when charging from 80% - 100% SoC.Just what I was waiting for. To draw lines on my screen while I sit there and contemplate why PAAK is so unreliable. Perfect! Then to be able to share our scribbles with each other... Bliss!!!
There are other ways to update, such as through a phone connection.Other automakers? Who??

Sure but if you're an "other automaker" and you had OTA updates you'd be screaming to high heaven that you have this feature (well ok advertise it). Don't really hear of any OEM's doing that. There are other ways to update, such as through a phone connection.
Alexa would let people who use Amazon services access features like Amazon music.
Is that going to be another thread.Just what I was waiting for. To draw lines on my screen while I sit there and contemplate why PAAK is so unreliable. Perfect! Then to be able to share our scribbles with each other... Bliss!!!
No that's if you have too many refried beans.Yeah. "HEY FORD, let's get some taco's" seems easier than scribbling a taco.
Does the e-Tron make farting noises after getting tacos?
Yes, you can. Try saying “ok Ford, what’s the weather”Other automakers? Who??

Um re-read my post: that is exactly what I said (and you can leave out the "what's the"--you can just say "weather" and it will pull it up).Yes, you can. Try saying “ok Ford, what’s the weather”
