I'm seeing 2022 GTPE's here in Chicago for 66k. Looks like the "F" everybody over stage is finally coming to an end. Soooooo glad I cancelled my '23 order which is literally 12k more because of the star white and blacked out option. SHEW I dodged being upside down like crazy. Now I wonder how many of these cars will sell at all now that that are putting all types of crazy stipulations on the "tax breaks" I put in quotations because the "tax break" seems like a scam at this point and I really almost fell for it. But I'm truly happy for those who love their purchase! Just very disappointed in Ford, not the dealers because I'm never surprisedwhen a snake bites because that whats snakes do

Over the summer I had a '22 GT (non-PE) that I bought at $5k over MSRP. After ~7k miles I sold it for profit! But I really missed it, and really wanted a PE-variant. So about two months ago I put a '23 on order. Then in Dec/2022 decided to do some internet shopping and found a customer ordered/cancelled '22 GTPE for MSRP. Snapped it up in early December.

Like you, my '23 was more money to the tune of around $8k because of the color, price increase (of course), and Nite Pony package. I have zero regrets about getting my '22 (though I do yearn for the S/W update that is hopefully forthcoming to bring my Sync4A into the new year!)

Are you saying that you're seeing $66k GTPE meaning they are $6-7k OFF MSRP!? If so, that is crazy -- but wont help resale value for us. And while most people keep their cars long enough it may not matter, I bought 11 cars last year (don't ask LOL). Does make me wonder how the MME values will fare in the next 6-12 months, if '22s are getting suddenly discounted!

I'm seeing used 22 Premium AWD ERs advertised for $5K-$6K under MSRP but back in July/August they were selling for $7K over.

Enjoy your GTPE. Overpriced resale value days are over.
