I think something is seriously wrong with all your cars!! You guys should all separately make threads on it.
Nice Mr Houston driver! It must be nice. ……but we love snow, cold, Icy roads, expensive electricity , road salt to rust them, and 40% range reduction 5 months of the year…. I did have a great time in Houston years ago. What’s the little fried crawdad place that has a line into the road every day? They serve them in a paper bag….. this was a long time ago but what a business. And I remember the Magnolia Grille.

Temp is in the 50s atm. Uphill to get home with energy used from 1.2 miles/kWh to 2.2 depending upon direction.

Cold? And by cold, I mean gas it been rather chilly of late, even if not today? The GOM knows what it’s been doing and factors that in heavily.

Same thing regarding hills. If you’ve been doing mountains, it’s going to make cold look like a picnic.

Finally, what’s your general miles/kWh been around this time of the year. That will give you a far better gouge.

Says the guy who can't be bothered to use any punctuation or capialise the first letter of a sentence. Grammar police have no place here friendo, especially with some people being from other countries and English not being their first language. Deal with minor mistakes here and there or take your grievances elsewhere.

The other day, I dropped off my Mach-E, a Select standard range, for the front window recall work. This was the afternoon before the work. Dropping off early fit my schedule better. The dealer, courteously, recharged my Mach-E on their outside charger, It was in the single digits that night. The following morning, my FordPass App reported it was charged to 100% with an estimated range of 140 miles. This is a 40% loss in capacity. Though, for me, it is something I can live with as long as I do not take a longer trip.

A question for all of you facing similar cold conditions and precondition your car. How much range is recovered by the time you leave?
I don’t precondition as I have not seen good argument between added range vs. electricity use. I did have interesting situation at least to me where I went to work arrived at 18 degrees left later temp went up to 40. My % battery remaining went up from 18 to 20% while at work.
