If GM wants me to buy another car from them, they'll need to badge their EVs as Pontiacs. No one is excited about a Blazer, but a GTO-E (Goatee?) would sell.

The "greatest car ever (TM)" has three pedals. I really like my Mach-E, though, for what it is and does.

Yeah, as much as I would love the return of the arrowhead, GM isn’t going to revive Pontiac. Three pedals in my T/A.

I am in love with my Mach E! I don't need to win Daytona on the streets, but rather need a car with a set of golf clubs in the trunk and a car seat in the back. It think it is the perfect wife approved midlife crisis car. Coming from a Volvo XC 90 dad mobile, the Mach E is fricking amazing. Outside of maybe a Rivian R1S, there really is not any other car I would want.

Hmm yeah, the R1S will be interesting.

While there's plenty of other cars I'd rather have that I would consider 'better', I'll agree that the Mach-e has a great play for one of the best current commuter cars on the market when looking at price, performance, value, tech, etc. but that's also subjective. Plenty of people would take an S Class interior over MME's and the other value propositions wouldn't matter, as one example.

"Greatest" meaning what? Most reliable? For me that would be a Honda Accord. Most fun to drive? For me that would be an Alfa Romeo Berlina. Best gas mileage? For me that would be a Chevy Volt. Most comfortable on long drives? For me that would be a MBZ 300SD. Best tire-shredder? Hands down my old 1971 Challenger R/T. Greatest EV? Most definitely the MME.

Well, anything goes on a clickbait type of thread such as this one.
After retirement, I traded in my much beloved 17-yr-old Z for the EV Hi5 due to high resale price and slow delivery of MME.

But for personal, lifetime "best" I choose my first of five Volvo's that I kept for 13-15 years each. My last, an 850, I put 249,000 miles on. Great commuter car.
