Congratulations, I know this has been quite the ride for you, especially after last week's storm mess.
Interested in how your delivery process goes since I will be dealing with Five Star NRH in a few weeks.
I hope it all worked out for you! I was not impressed with 5 Star in NRH. They offered me a vehicle that was not theirs to offer (it had already been sold), then threw in the towel and said they couldn't help me. McDavid Ford in FTW was a much more pleasant experience!

My experience with Five Star was great. I ordered last July so I was not looking for available cars at dealers. I had no problems with using Ford Options for financing, they had no ADM (they did not add ADM for their Bronco orders either).
I bought my 2013 Escape at McDavid Ford but it was Texas Motors Ford then, before being bought out. I chose Five Star since it is close by and they did not charge ADM on Mach-E orders. Which model of MME are you getting?

I'm officially two days past my ETA on both the Ford tracking site and the tool that people built here. How are people getting more detailed tracking information? I know I got trapped in Kansas City for a while before palsapp stopped working. Calling my dealer got me a vague "sometime this week", which is not helpful.

I'm so grumpy at this point that I considered putting a deposit on a Model Y last week, and then just taking whichever showed up first...
I feel the same.
Spoke with Ford customer service today.
My car was ordered in June 2020, built December 15th, 2020.
CS says it is still in Mexico, ETA May 17.
Can't tell me anything more, has no information.

5 months from build to delivery!!!

I'm so unhappy with this process.

After a delayed delivery, it is time for me to exit the Grumpy Forum; My Order Date was 7/14/2020; In-Production 2/11/2021; Built Date 2/22/21; Original Delivery Date 3/25; New Delivery 4/24; Actual Delivery 4/6. The new delivery dates that everyone seems to have gotten seem like a worst-case scenario to me. Best of luck to everyone.

Agree with 5 Star NRH being great to work with. I walked in a few Saturdays ago after seeing a GB FE. The GM greeted me and then took me on a test drive before giving me X-plan pricing with no issues or even pressure as I was unsure of the color. Really was solid experience. They are high volume and paperwork was dragging so they let me drive it home and then signed paperwork in 5 minutes at an appointment the following Monday.

Shazbot! After having a rock solid ETA of 4/22 since my Mach-E was built back on 3/2, today it slipped to 5/29. Was really hoping Ford had gotten the transportation worked out by now.

Will keep checking palsapp to see when it reaches KC. Maybe by the beginning of May. Or, maybe it will show up much earlier.

That'll teach me not to bother my dealership. Was all over them about Ford Options this week.

UPDATE 4/8: My Mach-E showed up on Palsapp (KC --> Birmingham) this morning a day after my ETA slipped a month. Going to take another 50 days to get to upstate NY? I'm so confused!

Please give me the opportunity to vent (again). My MachE is somewhere in the ether, with neither an ETA or any indication that it is anywhere in the system. The original ETA was 2/27- 3/3 before the stop ship occurred.

The current tracker information shows the final delivery date (to the dealer?) was 2/25 but the car never arrived. Here's the data from the forum's tracker:

Group Order TypeRetail (222R) (OBC8S)
Receipt DateJune 29, 2020
Production DateJanuary 18, 2021
Shipment DateJanuary 25, 2021
Transit Date34
Final Delivered DateFebruary 25, 2021
ETA End DateJanuary 1, 2000

So, where is my car? My dealership is a small one with great people who have no idea where to start tracking or even asking Ford for a current status. When I log into my Ford account, the site takes me into the "complete purchase" system. My fear is that Ford may not even have a clue that my MachE is somewhere in the herd of stop ship cars.

So, every day I wake up hopeful that today I'll get the call saying the car is ready for pickup. And, every night I am disappointed with no expectation that it will arrive any time soon. Any suggestions on how I can ask or escalate my questions within Ford?

My situation isn’t nearly as bad as yours and I am apoplectic.

One avenue you didn’t mention is “Mach-e Order Support” at (833) 385-0523. I hit yet another brick wall with them because I don’t have a VIN. Perhaps you’d have better luck.

Man I feel for you, sorry. Mine is also in this ether.
Actually was built December 15th, so long before yours.
ETA has now changed 4 times, originally was Febr 17th, now at May 17th.
Palsapp showed it arrive with a delivery receipt, in Kansas February 12th.
Both my Dealership and Ford Customer service tracks it to Mexico still, with no explanations.
It seems officially lost and Customer service did nothing more than apologize and tells me to be patient.

I was getting anxious, so I decided to checkout the inventory on Ford.com. I found one in Michigan, just like the one I ordered, except it’s blue, instead of white. I used the VIN to track it, and saw it was in transit. I emailed the Internet Representative to see if it would be available to purchase, when it arrived at the dealership. She sent some vague email, and also left a voicemail, asking me to visit them for a test drive, and look at the 2 they have in stock. I sent another email telling her I was in Ohio, and just wanted to see if the car was a demo unit, a special order for someone, or was actually available to purchase. She finally sent an email back saying it would be there in 6 months!

Sounds like it’s on the slow boat from China, not on the train from Mexico! I don’t think they really wanted to sell it to me. 😂

I reached my breaking point today.
Ford says my car has yet to leave Mexico 4 months after being built. ETA already pushed 12 weeks since initial date. Ford customer service made me feel as if I’m just a baby for complaining.
So I canceled today got deposit returned.
Polestar 2 ordered and ETA in 22 days from Halifax to Vancouver and then delivery to my door in Abbotsford 2 days later.I really wanted the Mach E, but I just have no more faith in Ford.

My dates are very similar to yours. My new ETA is 5/6. I don't think I'll be able to take another delay. I hope the P2 works out for you. I'm sure your old MME will be there the day before your Polestar.

This is very sad but I don’t blame you one bit for buying a Polestar. I hope I don’t get to that point when it gets closer to my build week. Waiting since October and seeing people who ordered after me getting their cars before me makes me want to “ jump ship” and leave Ford too. Personally I couldn’t afford a Polestar and would be looking at a Tesla. Ford is it’s worst enemy so far with lack of communication with its customers and transparency in what is going on. Just my empathy for you and what you went through and I hope you find happiness with your new car.
