It’s discouraging to see those who ordered GTs after my order date of 4/27 already having received ‘scheduled for production’ notifications. Nearly 8 weeks since my RR/ER/RWD w/light gray order, and still crickets.

After 4/27/2021?? If so, who? I haven't seen anything for folks who have ordered GTs in 2021.

I ordered my premium AWD ER on 3/19 and was told 8-12 weeks to delivery. Don’t have a build date yet. Yesterday I got a call from one of the many dealers I’ve contacted that had the configuration I wanted in infinite blue for a premium of $5k. I pulled the trigger and have no regrets. Fantastic car! Haven’t cancelled my order yet since, based on the reaction of the few people I showed the car to today, some friend or family member may want to get that one!

I’m happy for you that you found your car; congratulations! I did the same thing only I had waited months with no answer. I put out the car that was still on order and a forum member wanted it and put down $1000 deposit. They expect the car any day now. The original dealer who I really like thanked me for the sales lead which made me feel better about canceling the order. I love the car I got this past April and have been enjoying it since the day I got it.

Side note on this. I'm cautiously optimistic the car should arrive around 6/29. If so I have 7/2 off for 4th of July weekend. That could be the day. Thank you Illinibird, it's getting close!

Reservation date trumps order date. Those that reserved in 2020 or even 2019 but finished the order in early May will be ahead of those that did not reserve ahead of time (for the most part) and ordered April 27th.

That’s great news Brian! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it as we leave for Florida next Tuesday and return July 2nd late at night. Take lots of pictures and give Rich my best. If you do move it past July 2nd, let me know because then I’d be able to go.

I feel a disturbance in the “force” young Brian! Your car, it is near.

If you don't mind me asking what state is your dealer in? My car arrived at Norfolk Southern Voltz on 6/14. I'm in IL and my eta delivery on Ford says 7/18 to 7/24

I will keep you in the loop. Maybe 7/5 if Terry's is open that day if for instance car didn't arrive until 7/1 or 7/2. I would imagine it takes them a bit of time to get car ready

Whatever works best for you Brian; it's YOUR car. If I make it great and if not I'll look at your pics. There is some dealer prep for the cars as they are to check items off a new car check list (the list is somewhere on this forum). There is one man there that really knows a lot about the Mach E (went to Detroit to learn about the Mach E) and I hope he is there so you can meet with him. He may be able to pair your phone and set all the "Personalized" settings for you when you drive. My salesman was really a whiz and he programmed both Sue and my iPhone and setup Phone-As-A-Key.

I wanted to go for two reasons: 1. To meet you and see how you like your new baby and 2. To meet with Rich again and tell him how much I appreciate what he had done for me. Remember, Rich is the son-in-law of Sandy (who talked to Rich and arranged for me to see him and also made sure he accepted the X-Plan) and Frank (who Rich knows very well as they used to go to the same gym). Sandy and Frank live in the townhome next to us and they're good people. I want to be sure that I'm still business friends with Rich.
