New update. I was able to find a dealership in Betonville Arkansas with two Mach FEs in stock (how? why? I don't know but one was a retail order and one was a stock order). A blue one (retail) and a red one (stock order). The blue one sold yesterday and I am picking up the red one on Saturday after flying up there from Austin. The dealership took X-Plan but they can't do Options because Arkansas doesn't allow balloon payments. Then I get to drive it 8 hours to Austin TX (534 miles) to drop it off at the Xpel shop for PPF. My first BEV and I am taking it on a really long road trip. I am stopping in Dallas to charge it overnight. Fun times.

I'm in Bentonville and I spent quite a bit of time checking out the red one with my son a few days ago....it's a great looking car!! I have a GT reservation and I'm still waiting for that, but I was tempted to buy the red Mach-E on the lot when I saw it!

Looking forward to hearing about your experience on the road trip -- Dallas/Austin/Houston are frequent destinations for us, so any charging/travel tips you have along the way would be great to hear.

They've already cleared what looked like a car carrier from the incident below. I couldn't make out what the vehicles were on the carrier.

Wow. Fort Worth Star Telegram is saying between 75 and 100 vehicles involved including multiple trucks. That whole section of I35W between downtown and 290 is just a nightmare already with all of the construction. Throw in ice and Texas drivers who only experience ice 1 day a year, that's a bad combination.

When I first saw the picture, I thought you were going to say that was the police escort your new MME was receiving for the last leg of it's journey. Unfortunately, way worse. Hope no injuries to people (and also no MMEs involved......).

I saw an overhead video from news helicopter. Car carrier had Lexus vehicles. The wreckage is very bad in some parts with some fatalities reported.

Yes. First and foremost prayers for all the people effected. Just a terrible situation.

But yes I got really nervous when I saw the car carrier and what looks like a carbonized grey MachE on the back of it (second pic on the top just next to the fire/rescue chap in the right).

I jinxed myself. Today is past my ETA, still in transit. Grumpiness continues for me. This snow / ice storm probably is the delay.
