Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply. This is very sad but I don’t blame you one bit for buying a Polestar. I hope I don’t get to that point when it gets closer to my build week. Waiting since October and seeing people who ordered after me getting their cars before me makes me want to “ jump ship” and leave Ford too. Personally I couldn’t afford a Polestar and would be looking at a Tesla. Ford is it’s worst enemy so far with lack of communication with its customers and transparency in what is going on. Just my empathy for you and what you went through and I hope you find happiness with your new car.
I really hope that you receive your Mach e soon and all is well with it.
I know it’s likely silly of me to have waited so long to back out at the end, but I just had enough.
Sure some person would feel very happy about my FE when it is suddenly available at the dealership.
I reached out to polestar out of frustration, and was blown away by the interaction.
it was just how I wished it would be buying a car.
I know that their biggest issue is lack of physical spaces but luckily for me, I’m close enough.
Door-to-door service for delivery, service appt etc really feels premium customer care.
The range on the P2 vs mme is less by about 40 miles, which is possible deal breaker for some, but range was never an issue for me. P2 would easily go a week on full charge for my commute.
Charge network for every non-Tesla is not yet up to compare, but again for me who would charge at home very much exclusively, hopefully not a headache.
Excited to be a Bev owner soon and hope you have a great time with your car.
