Good morning everyone. I'm new to the forum and don't have a Mach E yet, but I'm looking to order one as soon as Ford opens up reservations again.

I was pretty sure I wanted one before, but now that I can get Grabber Blue without having to go up to the GT model, I'm sold.

I know there has been like a million threads on this, but does anyone know when 22 orders will open? I've seen a lot of people quote 9/27, but we know that's not true.

I placed the order on 3/3/21, and the tracker records it as 3/15. The build week was 7/24, and it’s been in chip limbo since.

More movement and my suspicions were correct. The car was officially produced yesterday 9/29/21 and has been given an estimated delivery date to the dealer of 11/28/21. Could be one heck of a Thanksgiving weekend.

Are those delivery dates generally pretty conservative? I've seen plenty of posts where the car shows up a couple of weeks early. Here's hoping.

What "built" really means? Based on information from dealer, mine is built, but tracker still shows "In Production", but at least with the date, and estimated delivery

And I don't receive any emails

Anyway, hopefully they will stick to this estimated date!

So I just got the "Your order was updated" email that several others have mentioned. And like others, no actual change on my status pages. Still just shows production week of 9/27 and that's it. Hopefully something changes soon.

Just got my order in today for a 22. I had to go through the dealer because the order portal appears to be FUBAR. If the website is to be believed, I'm looking at a 7 month + wait.

Can't wait to join the Mach E fam.

Typically it’s in your order confirmation email but not everyone received one apparently. Your dealer should have it on file

This requires that a Window sticker has been produced. Window stickers usually are not produced until the specific car is going into production. Example: My car’s production week is supposed to be next week. There is no window sticker yet. Maybe tomorrow, maybe some time next week, unless Ford delays my production week yet agin.

According to the 2022 order guide posted in this thread, the only new paint added was "Iced Blue Silver Metallic." The new colour was added for all trim levels, including the GT. It looks like for 2022 there are no GT exclusive paint colours.
