Interesting, considering everyone went bananas for the Ioniq 5 lol Shows just how good the Mach E is.

I've never been in a Tesla but I find that hard to believe
That its big or that it is easier to use? It definitely is easier to use, in my opinion, it is just laggy to all hell. I hope it can be optimized with software not a hardware limitation, ie RAM or processor... but I am thinking it is hardware at this point, which is a bummer.

Everyone seems to agree the Tesla screen is faster and more responsive. As far as the UI, Tesla keeps things fairly simple and you don't have to go through a lot of sub menus to make changes (although many things can be done via the voice commands). Obviously this is subjective and once you've grown accustomed to the car, UI navigation becomes fairly simple regardless of the car.

So, looks like they scored it a draw?

The ID.4 is interesting because a year ago I'd have bought one and not blinked, especially when I was considering RAV4's and CX-5's. It's really no contest compared to the ICE crossovers, except for AWD which can run a bit more than an ICE crossover.

The Ioniq desperately needs US pricing. It's (EV6 also) got every feature I want in a car but if it rolls in at $59K to get them....and the 1st edition EV6 was priced at $58.5K.

The Mustang is "not as intriguing or attention-grabbing as the Ioniq."

Is that for real?
Yeah, why is that so hard to believe? The Ioniq looks like nothing else. The Mach-E, while very pretty, is incredibly conventional.

In that it's portrait mode so you don't need to reach into the passenger's lap to access core functions which should probably have just been physical buttons in the first place, yes. Teslas have indisputably better software, but Ford has done well with their cabin design. Another success of Mach-E's big screen is what it doesn't display- the instrument cluster keeps your eyes closer to the road than Tesla's center screen does.

Ioniq has the killer feature, V2L. If MME had that, it'd be a no-brainer.
