Hi,
I'm really wanting a Mach E performance but not sure I can live with the seats. I avoided the Tesla Y because the headrest doesn't adjust (I'm tall) and it looks like from the pictures the GT seats do not adjust. I am trying to find one to sit in so I can change my order.

Anyhow. Assuming the seats can be swapped and the computer auto seat adjustment stuff doesn't explode, is anyone interested in trading? I give them the "fancy" GT seats and they give me the tall friendly non-sports seats?

I'm in the Seattle area, my order is estimated for March 2022.

Tall is pretty relative. Wasn’t Darren Palmer pretty tall (like 6’7”)? I’m kind of average (6’1”) but have short legs and a long torso. I haven’t sat in the PE seats yet but I’m pretty sure the height of the seat won’t be a problem. I am hoping the headrest isn’t too far forward so that it doesn’t push on my helmet. I’ll find out whenever my car gets here in 2029.

I'm 6'5" tall, very wide shouldered. Sports seats almost never fit me well. The generic seats make me very happy.

Ah, so it’s probably should’ve width that is the issue I can see where the PE seats might be a problem there with the added shoulder bolstering. I’m sure there is someon in the Seattle area who has a GT-PE who will let you audition the seats. I don’t have mine yet and don’t know when it might get here, but I would offer to seat you in mine if you are in the SF Bay Area after I get mine.

Look at you being all optimistic
2032?

I'm in Portland and am definitely open to this. I'll see if I can confirm with a friend at Ford.

I ended up being able to sit in the gt non performance seats. I love them so switched to a gt order.

Why do you tall guys insist on pretending you're average???
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) , the average age-adjusted height for American men 20 years old and up is 69.1 inches (175.4 centimeters). That's about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Heh, back when I was in high school, I *was* average. Half of the guys were taller than me, the other half were shorter.

Now, comparing myself to other Poodles... Well yeah, I'm tall. ?
