Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine beading over time

Did a quick maintenance wash 9 days ago (foam canon + power rinse) and then applied Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine via microfiber applicator pad and microfiber cloth wipe-off. (sprayed 2 or 3 stipes on the pad, not directly to panels)

After a week (and about 400 miles worth of driving) the car was pretty dusty but I didn't re-wash as we are forecasted for rain all this week.

It rained yesterday so here's what the beading looks like on both paint and glass after those 9 days.

Seal and shine is awesome. The only product used on my Ioniq EV and former 2020 Ram truck. The shine was incredible and its so easy to apply. It lasts a lot of washes too (there is a youtube review it's over 50 I think). I then found TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic (A Project Farm Review on Youtube) and have switched. BTW they are not compatible! If you coat over Shine and Seal with Hybrid solutions ceramic , you get a streaky mess. Just a fair warning.

So my Mach E is Hybrid Solutions and Ioniq Seal and Shine.

I figure I'll use this until I deplete the bottle and then may do the same or try the Adams Graphite spray. Do you have any product recommendations for removal of Shine and Seal when that time comes?

Took the MME into the dealer for service (driver door lock software update) and forgot to tell them NOT to put it through their automatic car wash. I don't see any scratches or other damage so maybe I lucked out.

It's supposed to rain again over the next couple of days so I'll post updated beading performance pictures in the next day or two.

Another week later (14 days and about 500 more miles since application) Did a quick foam cannon wash and rinse followed my microfiber dry. (Just knocking dust off, no buckets or scrubbing)

Thanks for sharing the info on this thread. Based on your experience, I went out and bought the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic coating and boy does that thing work well!

So I actually had to re-wash it again on day 15 because it got a ton of July 4th fireworks ash all over it at my in-law's the prior night. (So. Many. Fireworks!) Same as the last comment, just foam cannon and rinse.

Used to use their ICE line of products on my 2002 Thunderbird and it was awesome. Received a lot of compliments on how my Bird shined. Now I have switched to Turtle Wax Ceramic Hybrid Solutions and find this is even better than the ICE line of products IMHO. They have an entire line of products from their ceramic wash to the Ceramic Hybrid spray wax to their Ceramic detailer. People now comment on my Mach E and how shiny it looks. I applied two coats of the ceramic sealer/wax and it is supposed to last a year; we'll see. I didn't clay bar the paint but I will probably do that and an iron removing agent along with a final alcohol wipe (no color correction step) the next time I wax the car.

At about 4 weeks (about 1100 miles since application) I did another foam canon only wash and it’s starting to really break down on the sides. The hood, front bumper and glass are actually still pretty good though.

I just put a coat of Turtle Wax 3n1 Ceramic detailer on my Wife’s car today. Dropped a towel on the hood and it slid right off. In the garage now, but will probably be out in the rain tomorrow. Our monsoon season has cranked up again after taking a week off!

Just came back from a 900 mile road trip but the car is amazingly clean and almost bug free! I am going to apply another coat of ceramic detailer to prepare for our upcoming love bug season. UGH!!!

Yeah, Turtle Wax has really improved their products. I use the Hybrid Solutions graphene spray and it stays hydrophobic for about 4.5 months (on my wife's car). I reapplied it to my car and this is about 8 weeks. I recently bought Tec582 ceramic detail spray as a topper and it's amazing. It makes the surface super slick and brings back the hydrophobicity as if it was day 1.
