Very good. Those Tesla sales started in 2015.Well, doing a little back of the napkin math - Tesla sold their 1 millionth car on march 10th, 2020. For 2020 they sold shy of 500k, so we'll ballpark the number of Tesla's ever sold at around 1.3 million cars. The government just compelled them to recall roughly 1 in 8 of all the cars they've ever sold.
So, since 2015/2020 Ford sales were 14.6 million, a rough 8 to one ratio would mean that Ford would have to recall about 1.8 million vehicles, for one problem.
Damn, that Tesla just beats the pants off Ford in recall rates.
