Currently, the Ford UK site shows the OTR price for a RWD SR of £41,330 (and with Ford Logic, the order page in my Ford account). I ordered the car last December when It was £40,270. I am due to pay the balance next week -the car is at the dealers.
Clearly, I should pay the price that was current at the time of order so, I dare say that will be resolved in due course. He currently thinks the new price applies!
In any case, I can find no on line announcement to a price increases on Mach Es.
Is anyone else aware of such a price increase?

I'm sorry guys, but I just don't see what the great issue is with the keys. Unless you plan to put them in a glass jar at a party or throw them on a table in the pub to show everyone you have a Mustang what difference does it make. I have had my car since Wednesday and the only time my key has been out of my pocket is when I changed my trousers, no it wasn't because of the acceleration. You don't need to use the key at all. It unlocks when you get near, there is a lock button on the door and there is a button to open the lift hatch on the car. Yes, I agree, it is piss poor of Ford to supply this type of key for such a quality car but if you carry on like this it will take over the joy of actually getting the car. The additional blades you get with the car are for one use only as far as I can tell and that is to turn the switch to deactivate the passengers airbag.

Everyone entitled to their own opinion, and if you are happy with whatever key u was given then thats fine, but I for one will be disappointed if I am given key & blade like some sort of afterthought, instead of one that actually matches what is shown in the manual!

There problem if the price as gone up , I'm sure they will honours yours too , I know even though the government grant of 3000 still applies if ordered before the change

I agree. Don't bother joining the WhatsApp group as it's 80% keys at the moment...
I wasn't going to anyway. Yes, I'm one of the lucky ones, I have my car. I was going to stay on here and help those who haven't got theirs yet. I don't want to listen to all this crap about keys and such so I'm going to take a break

You’re crap is another persons stressful issue / final straw!
If a key is a stressful issue you may have to put things into perspective.

The last year has taught me a thing or two about stress.

The key issue is unfortunate and people can rightly complain but stress? Really?!?‍♂

You have ranted quite a bit in the past about waiting for your car. I understand you have the car and now you want something different from the forum.
Enjoy your car.
Personally if I can get a proper key I would prefer it. They are trying to sell a premium product and they should supply the premium key. If I can’t get one I won’t loose sleep over it.

Yep well I suffer from stress amongst other things. You’d be surprised what something quite serious doesn’t bother me, but something trivial to you sets me off. So maybe be considerate of other peoples differences.

Unsure but we have all paid over the odds for a premium branded car so why settle for a standard key regardless of how trivial some may think it is , there is no ford badges anywhere in the car as far as I know so why put it on the key , it's crazy ?

More speculation, but because PAAK isn't allowed in the UK, we need two keys when other markets only get one. I would assume there's a shortage of the Mustang keys, i.e. not enough to give us two each, so rather than further delay our cars, we're being given two standard Ford keys as a temporary measure. They likely decided this was better than giving one Mustang key and one Ford key.

Pure speculation, but logical to me.

I also couldn't give two hoots, but there you go.

Good explanation seems very plausible.
