I'm still a bit confused about the 80%. I understand this is recommended as it is better for the battery. However, isn't there already a buffer provided in that the car set up to only allow approx 90% of capacity to be available? At an online live ford mme event a couple weeks back someone asked ford if charging to 100% was ok and the response from Ford was yes (see screenshot). Now I'm as sceptical as the next person about what advice comes from Ford "experts" but even if they were wrong, doesn't the 10% non-usable buffer mean if you want to work to the 80% charge then you should really be charging to 90%?

This is Ford’s advice in the manual - they recommend charging up to 90% for daily use. Obviously 100% charge is fine if you need it for a long trip:

I know someone probably answered this a while ago but does anyone know if it's possible to buy a mustang key fob and have it programmed to work with the Mach E?
According to what's been discussed on here it is possible. @Wonky_Donkey dealer said he would sort them for free. Others were quoted approx £400.

The main issue seems to be whether you would need to notify your insurer as the srandat ford keys we get have a motion sensor which turns them off when still for two minutes so they can't be "scanned" for key less car thefts, so don't need a faraday pouch etc.. We don't think the mustang ones do this.

My dealer offered to get me mustang keys free of charge then a couple of days later said that Ford had stopped them ordering mustang keys as without the motion sensor bit the mustang keys would change insurance. Happy to have rubbish looking keys and a less stealable car

It probably is fine, because of the buffer as you say, but I think generally as a rule of thumb only charging to 100% when needed is better for the battery… especially, if like me you don’t do long mileage. The less you can charge, the better as each charge will come with a little bit of degradation. Keep it plug in overnight for conditioning, if you’re able to, set up charge scheduling for top ups as and when it can. But it’s probably fine to do 100% but if you can get by with less, it will be better for the battery in the long term.

Have any of those who have taken delivery noticed the little hairline cracks that have been reported on the forum, between the door button and the little ? icon above it? Seems to be quite widely reported… and I’ve just noticed two appearing on both left hand side passenger doors ? WTAF?? I’ve only got 300miles on the clock and they’re already showing up.

My car is booked in to receive the E-call patch later this morning at 9AM. Hoping it resolves the incredibly hopeless FordPass app telling me my car is 30 miles from where it actually is. This also doesn’t allow me to save my home charge location like @SJ_Okay
Let me know what it does with your home charge location after the eCall patch… if it fixes it, then it could be that mine is still wrong.

The app is working again this morning, noticed that the tyre pressures are finally showing in PSI and the odometer is finally listing Miles not Km, so that’s good… but I’m not holding my breath for much more improvements than that.

Does anyone know how much Ford are charging for servicing on the Mach E? That's if I don't get the service pack

Anyone picking up a red AWD from Gates Stevenage ? I’m waiting while they apply the E-call Patch and I can see it in the car park. There’s also a grey RWD with no plates registered.

Did anyone else get a tappsDate update at 08:31 this morning? Hoping it's just me as it would show my dealer finally getting on with some updates. @SashaLondon have you seen something similar?

I cant even find the tappsDate now. I was using the page you send your profile to the car. That doesn't show for me anymore. Any tips on where to find it?
