Just for s**ts n giggles, I got a black piece of paper, and walked out to my car with the keys.

I stuffed the black paper under the mirror and sure enough I see a small pony being projected.

Obviously I just cant see it on the ground unless its real dark.

mine work just fine - and don’t appear to need things to be too dark - here’s a picture from yesterday evening at 8:24 PM…..

Pod-Point charger was installed this morning - very tidy job and working like a champ. Installed with its own RCB below the meter box and located where I can charge both in the garage and on the driveway. Octopus Energy are installing the smart meter next Tuesday, so my Octopus Go tariff should be live soon after.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree with this theory. When I approach my car (most of the time), the car senses the key and "wakes up" turning on the DLT's and rear lights whether locked or unlocked. The puddle light will only come on when the car is locked and the mirrors are folded. They will light up whatever the ambiant light conditions are as they are activated by the car sensing the key.
If you haven't already done so, I would check that you have set the mirrors to auto fold on locking, the welcome lighting is set to on and that you don't unlock the car with your fob as this will cause the mirrors to unfold which in turn deactivates the puddle lights. If, after having done all this, I would assume that you have an issue and you get your dealer to have a look.

my mirrors do not fold electrically, I haven't folded them in yet but my mustang shines on the floor at night

Finally got my Andersen charger installed the other week.

Rather expensive but I have to say I’ve been very impressed with the app and how neat it is. Not a cable in sight! ?

Guy came all the way up from Newcastle to Glasgow. Apparently all his customer’s are in Scotland. Not sure how his carbon footprint is!?

I love our house but I'm so jealous of those of you with driveways at the side/garages It would make the decision for where to put our charge point so much easier!

I finally managed to get a test drive of an MME this morning and I think I'm definitely in love. So much so that I'm seriously considering changing my order to an AWD ER as the website is saying the lead time is only "from 2 weeks" at the moment! (currently I've ordered a RWD ER). One thing I would say is that I didn't really notice much difference in acceleration between the three modes - even Whisper is lightning quick. The only thing I did notice was a slight change in the feel of the car, almost as if when switching to Unbridled the car was taking a big breath in and tensing its muscles; then when you switch back to Whisper it was breathing out and relaxing.

OK, so I'm back in again....without Activating the vehicle.

I went out to the car, and all of the settings for FordPass had been turned off....not by me, must have been something to do with me logging out the app.

I just re-enabled them all in Sync4A, and then my app started working again.....with no SecuriAlert.

Do you just delete the app, or remove vehicle first and readd?

I have Ford pass on my iPad and it shows the same.

All I do is ‘Remove The App’ reload it and sign in again.
I don’t remove the vehicle and it picks up the past information when you sign in again.

i picked up a rwd ext range mustang 2 weeks ago and have been waiting for the towbar and electrics to be delivered to the Ford dealer. They arrived today. Now waiting for it to be fitted.
does anybody know how the rear sensors are turned off while the towbar is being used? On my previous car a Ford kuga there was a button on the dash which turned off the sensors I.e. stopped the rear alarms going off whilst the towbar was in use. They must have thought about that I hope !,

any knowledge out there?

Hitched a trailer on mine for the first time this week. No issues with rear sensors and didn't have to disable them or anything so hopefully you should be ok.
