I am in the UK and quite prepared to pay the price ford indicated when I made the reservation.
I would say however that the car versions offered in the UK are packaged very differently to the US and indeed the rest of Europe.
In the UK there are two versions RWD and AWD both in SR or ER. Except for colour that’s it. There are no options. In Europe the tech pack and tech pack plus are options (these include the panoramic roof) If Ford were to market the car in a similar way in the UK that would do it, as bizarrely options are not included in the price for the tax threshold. Along with delivery charges as Madscientist identified.
I realise that for lots of forum members this is a very parochial British issue and we seem to be carping. It’s just the it would mean the car we really want would be $3,500 cheaper.
