So, I just wanted to give an update on where I am on the problems I was having on my MME 2021 Premium. Some are solved and others still not. And yet another new one I hope someone will help with.
1. I figured out myself how to get the car to charge to my desired level. Yay
2. Ford fixed the Reverse Brake Assist Not Available issue. I noticed that I only see it it I'm backing up and a door is ajar which shouldn't happen anyway. I assume this is correct?
3. I'm rarely getting the Guest icon and radio settings. It still happens but not that often so I can live with it.
4. Still waiting for my dealer to figure out why my car is charging so slowly from my 240V. After I plug in, Ford Pass says it will take more than a day to charge at 3 - 6 KW but then it ends up charging in about 6 or 7 hours.
So, onto new problem: Apple Play defaults to Media and plays my podcasts. I have disconnected and reconnected my phone and Apple Play. The screen shows my iphone connected in additon to the Media icon. I've tried to go online and figure this out but can't seem to. Every time the car connects to my phone it defaults to Media. See photos.
New question - is the screen supposed to go black occasionally and then reboot? See photo
Sorry this post is so long but I've been frustrated for so long.
Lastly, does anyone have any input in doing a buyback? We bought this car. I would be willing to lease a new one.
