Nice. Any idea what the tape was for? Shipping protection?
That red car looks like it was plugged in.
All 6 cars were charging and were at 100% based on the led indicator near the plug-in spot.

I just heard from my source in Cuautitlan: Those cars are gone already. As of this afternoon there's only one lonely pony on the lot.

Another flash: they haven't used trains at that plant in 15 years. Everything goes out by truck. Since we know at least one of these was inspected on 10/12 and seen in Phoenix Dearborn on 10/16 we can knock most of the shipping off the time estimates. That should mean only a week from production to dealer in busy markets.
And those are mostly FCTP cars?
Notice anything missing from the windshield?.....

No Ford oval like seen on the pre-production cars. At least my eyes can't spot them....
Are those pictures from Dearborn pre production? That red one has it.

You can't "start" our Leaf if the charger is engaged. I've never just tested it with the door open. I'll have to try it and report back.
I can confirm that you cannot start a LEAF SL Plus with charging door open.

I think those vehicles in Dearborn are pre-production. You can see an August date in the windshield in grease pencil. The 10-12-20 date says Safety Inspection or something similar. Those were probably test cars for some certification looks like.

So . . . It’s been awhile. @trutolife27 or @ChasingCoral , any updates from your friends? Or are the elves too busy making Santa’s cars for the good little girls and boys?

Search their posts. Both have mentioned a couple of things from the sources over the past week. Just not in this thread.

I think the only thing I really need to know now is a realistic timeline of when they will be manufacturing cars by order number.

I have a leased Chevy Bolt I have to turn in at the end of January, and it would nice to know an approximate date that my Mach-E will arrive at the dealership. I don't expect an exact date, but say a three week window would be very helpful. We could squeak by until the end of February, but if the car is not going to be here until the end of May, I have to make some plans.

Ford builds vehicles. It is what they are good at. They must have this info by now. So why not let us know? It is not like I will cancel the order over it....

Honestly at this point I feel like I am so far back in line, I would just like to know roughly three month window of the year next year I might be in, and they could get more accurate as it gets closer.

My lease with Ford expires next week, I’ve already extended the full 12 months and they don’t have an answer as to what my options are. I would also like a 3 month window of when my Mach E will arrive.
