The best we can tell is they moved up the production of FCTP (demo) vehicles ahead of the First Editions. MP1 will be FCTP starting on September 25, MP2 for First Editions starting on October 26 -- unless things go really well and it gets moved up!
Understood there is less than 3000 certified dealers (training and upgrades) that will receive demos. That would make production about 150 units/day @ 5 day weeks?

~2000 EV-certified dealers in the US.

There's no many flavors of "in production" that it can be really misleading. There can be assembly of FCTP units vs customer units, there can be stamping and painting of body parts in preparation for assembly, etc.
Agreed. In this case the MME is produced at a single plant so the lines get blurred between production and final assembly which are really two separate operations in most scenarios. Almost certainly the drive units and battery packs are shipped in but other parts like metal panel stamps, interiors, glass etc can be made on site or nearby. The parts and material supply logistics are incredible....I imagine that is arguably the most important factor in the scheduling equation.

Battery cells shipped in, packs made in Cuautitlan.

I think this is the demo production. The FC . . Whatever that acronym is cars. Customer production in October.
FCTP = Ford Courtesy Transportation Program (demos)
MP = Mass Production

Here's the original information sent to dealers in July -- now outdated dates.

So when will they start to get an idea on production schedule by trim level? Or when will they send out the VINs?
