There seems to be a lot of tension when I squat.

Thanks. And would you please give us a summary of the consensus of findings in the previous 573 threads. It would be much appreciated.

I swear on / about the KW v3 shock + spring set... worth it although at a salty price. I have about 55k+ miles on my KW set across all of the USA.

So you want someone else to read the book for you AND write a paper on it? ?

Summary- car bouncy, new shocks help some.

Here's my summary:
I did the Konis from this thread and the Eibach rear sway bar at the same time, expecting a subtle difference, but for us it made an enormous difference.

My wife immediately commented that the car is driving much better.

Never underestimate the importance of the WAF. The post that @HuntingPudel linked from @Mach-Lee has lots of great analysis, but the WAF is more important than that.

*for those new to Internet forums, WAF = "Wife Acceptance Factor"

For me it’s all about the CAF (Canine Acceptance Factor). ??

Same here. ?
I recently had a chance to drive 21st Century Pony’s MME with Eibach anti roll bars front and and the KW coil over setup. While I did not drive it like I stole it, I came away impressed. That is one buttoned up Euro style pony car. My ?’s CAF is clearly lower with my MME than it was with the 2020 RDX which had adaptive dampers. I can tell by the sounds of displeasure she makes.

I am going to take the plunge and go for the Eibachs F/R and replace the rear dampers. I’m going to look on the forum for opinions if any on Bilsteins before I decide on Koni v Bilstein. While the KW coil over setup is the cat’s meow, or the ?’s happy wag, it’s more $$ than I want to pony up for the pony car suspension. Hopefully the Eibachs and rear dampers will amp up the CAF.

I’ve been putting off these suspension mods for too long… but I think it’s time. For someone that is not so mechanically inclined (there’s a reason I stuck with COMPUTER engineering…), do you think KWs or Koni’s are reasonable for a reputable suspension shop to work on? I figure the KWs would be straightforward since those are designed for the MachE (but also $$$), whereas the Konis might not be. Eibach sway bars will definitely happen at the same time. Any thoughts?

I am sure there are others on the Forum who can speak more directly to the questions you raise. It is, however, my understanding that the KW coil over install was on the pricy side. The shocks only on the back end may not be that difficult if this is anything like a regular car when it comes to that part of it. From reading the posts on the Koni's, however, it definitely sounds fiddly but not impossible if you take your time, particularly at the top cap area and the adjuster nut modifications, as I recall. A true specialty 'speed/hotrod/race prep' shop might do the shocks for you if you took in a printout of the process, although I suspect a run of the mill tire and shock R and R kind of place wouldn't want to be bothered and might not give you much of a comfort level in their ability to do it.

I defer, and stand corrected if that's the case, to others here more knowledgeable who've actually been through the process. Sounds like you've read the thread, suggest re-reading it to burn it into your mind.
