Not sure if this is already common knowledge but I learned something today from FordPass support about the Vehicle Connectivity feature.
Ran into a problem this morning where Alexa was complaining about connectivity to the network. Decided what the hey, let's reset the connection?
Turned off Vehicle Connectivity, tapping through all the warnings, and turned it back on. Re-paired Alexa with my account and it worked.
But FordPass didn't. Couldn't manage the Target Charge, Plug & Charge was off and FordPass kept giving up trying to turn it on, etc.
Called FordPass support and the procedure looked like this:
1. Turn off Vehicle Connectivity
2. Turn off the car
3. Open the door
4. Lock the doors (I used the keyfob for this)
5. Close the door
6. After a couple minutes, start the car
With this, I turned Vehicle Connectivity back on and enabled all the other options underneath it, and FordPass worked perfectly.
