Andy, Does your Frunk Button I saw in the video work? I saw your put the "hatch" up and down, but you didn't mention if frunk was operational.

I have a Job 1 Car. Will I have this function when I receive the update?

Sorry, I have a 2021 Job 2 car (all GT / GTPE were) and my frunk button always worked from the screen since delivery. You know asking this question is a hot button for @Jimrpa ....

Great video, Andy! You might want to wear contacts in the future to reduce glare off your eyeglasses.

I received 4.1.2 last weekend and after watching your video noticed some other things besides snappier response and better CarPlay connectivity.

• heated seat icon is now BOTH multi-tap icon and turn knob controlled. No more vertical slider.
• The frunk/trunk controls are not intuitive. It’d be better to have a side profile view of the car and the frunk/trunk buttons at the front/back of the car instead of this grille view.

Sorry, I have a 2021 Job 2 car (all GT / GTPE were) and my frunk button always worked from the screen since delivery. You know asking this question is a hot button for @Jimrpa ....

It's Crazy, but I almost exclusively use the Frunk and not the "hatch" especially with small objects as there is no option for cargo net. It would be nice to have a Frunk Button on screen or better yet on App. I guess @Jimrpa and I will just continue to IMPATIENTLY wait.

I agree but I wish there was a little physical release in the front grille like there is for the hatch.

I just noticed that Ford also removed the Charge settings from the Settings menu system (!) and made it into a separate "app" in their app tray.

Of course, this is only discovered when you need to change something and explore the whole new menu system to find Charge settings are no longer there....

The loss of the active widgets is definitely the most controversial aspect of this update, judging from the comments I've seen in response. I wonder if there was a way for Ford to have kept that affordance for maximizing/shrinking the main app window while growing the app space like they did.

They did have that before. The expand "button" or icon up in the top right corner put the screen into the view we have now with this update. But if you were one of the weirdos like me that liked the at-a-glance info the widgets provided, you could condense the top and have those widgets for you. It's very weird to me that Ford removed the option to expand or condense the screen.
