True. It’s also in contrast to the assumptions that Ford is doing nothing about it. I sure don’t expect my car to get an improvement in performance before my loan hits the balloon payment, but I will likely be holding onto the car for a couple of years after I pay off the balloon. At that point, who knows? I might get another Ford. I might get a Stellantis. I might get something foreign. ?Not exactly an ironclad guarantee of anything at all.
