As we approach our cars the welcoming lights turn on when it recognizes the fob or the PaaK. I have noticed a couple of times the projection of a mustang onto the ground next to the front door. BUT, not always. I understand I won't see it in brighter light conditions, but even at night I usually don't see the projected mustang. Does it only come on under certain circumstances?

I really think it's dependent on the ambient light out. Mine cuts on, but it has to be pretty dark out.

The car needs to lock.
I turned off the "sound horn" to notify the lock because it was annoying. So, either I look back to make sure the mirrors are locked or I force lock the car before I walk away. It's pretty easy. I don't even mess with that little lock symbol on the door pillar. I just hold the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons on the door pillar keypad and the car locks and mirrors fold.

Then go away and come back with your PaaK or fob. Flip your phone over and hold the case under the projector lamp on your folded mirror. You should see the pony even during the day (provided you have a little shade at least.......)

Thanx. Will give that a try.
