Welcome lights never worked

Hi all, i have my Mach-e for over a year now (Premium 2022) and I have never seen puddle lights triggered, not even parking lights or keypad lights up when i approach the car. The car just stays fully off until i unlock it with door button or key fob. Also tried with paak but no difference. (so fob battery should not be a problem)
The car recognizes that key is nearby, doors work properly, walk-away feature also works, just not on approach. Mirrors are folded, welcome lights are turned on in menu.
I have tried all ideas from around the forum, but nothing seems to work and my local dealer did not find any problem either. He did not even know there should be puddle lights... Is there a way to somehow figure out what is a problem? Checking things one-by-one? Then I would demand the fix from dealer, but i need some proof so they can replace/fix the part under warranty.
Is it possible that previous owner mechanically disabled it somehow?
I am located in europe if that makes any difference, ota updates work fine.

My puddle lights didn't work whenever I was at home. This was due to my PAAK and FOB triggering the car often because they are in range of each other. Eventually the car ignores the multiple "dings" and the puddle lights stop coming on. There's more threads on this buried somewhere here in the forum. This may or may not be your issue but it was my issue. Good luck.

Your mirrors have to be folded in for them to work. Make sure that setting is correct in car onboard settings.
