I hear the cacophony sometimes while walking close to the car or if it is hit with strong winds. I also hear it off I'm in the vicinity with my phone (PaaK). I don't notice it with the key fob so far.
I think this is "normal" for now, as long as the clicking stops within two seconds and doesn't continuously happen while there's no activity surrounding the vehicle.
I spent a lot of time detailing and striping both of our Mustangs. I’m talking, probably 50 hours in the garage near them. They click continuously. Even when I left my phone in the house and didn’t have a phone nor fob anywhere near them. It’s just relays for battery management, low volt battery maintenance, security system, and other whosits and whatsits doing their thing.
In Munroe's battery tear down video there are 4 soda can sized relays at the front of the battery tray. I can imagine they'll make a racket when activated.
