What car did you give up for MME??

I really wanted to do this thread because I really loved my type R, but it was truly a summer only toy. I saved all my coin from a young age to purchase my dream car, a Corvette. Growing up around hot rods unfortunately gave you the itch for speed. My first used/new to me Vette was a 2003 yellow coupe. It seems there's always been a garage car, along with my daily driver. I decided to cut it down to one vehicle. Well, my wife has her Cmax energi...lol! This MME checked the boxes, quick, tough looking, comfortable and all electric! I'm definitely all in and hopeful this vehicle returns the love. My lease ends at the beginning of the year on my daily driver. It's all on my MME after that! Swapped a Porsche Macan for the MME. About the same size and performance but the MME is the car I love now.

In FEB we added the MME FE to the Wife's Fleet (2017 LR Disco Sport, 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport).

I still have my 'only' owner 2003 Ford Excursion 7.3L 4x4 and 2017 Coachmen Mirada v10 Motor Home.

We also added a 2021 Hyundai Ioniq PHEV for our 16 and 15 year old girls.

Our neighbors think we are running a car lot to cash in on the high prices of used cars!

2017 all black Ford Explorer Sport. I loved this car but I really wanted an EV. Audi was my first choice (need more range) but Mach E was introduced just as my lease was ending.

It was still in excellent condition when I sold it! The buyer took one look at it and he said “ SOLD “! The only problem was that I sold it too early and left my Wife car less for months!! Fortunately for me, I found her a MME that was a cancelled order and saved at least two more months of waiting!!

I traded a 2017 Chevy Colorado 2WD in for my Mustang Mach E. I was real close to buying a Jeep Gladiator as I wanted 4WD when I realized that the price on it was up in EV territory and I really don't need a truck. It was something of an impulse buy and I didn't realize there were no roof rack options for it yet.

Tesla Model S. Happy to decrease my car payment, and I love the MME. Have a GTPE build date of 8.22 and Im selling my Tesla to my brother.

A 2001 Honda S2000 and a 2011 Cadillac CTS Wagon. The MME quite nicely replaces both of them. Except for the S in the twisties, but those don't exist in central Ohio, and I stopped autocrossing years ago.

Damn I wish they still sold the V60 in T6 trim in America, sucks so bad they only do the T5 now. I'd consider the T8 Recharge but it's only in Polestar trim which originally I thought I'd like but now that I see what you have to do to adjust the rear suspension I said no thanks. I don't want to disassemble the rear of the car just to turn the damper knobs a couple of clicks.
