The Sync version tells you next to nothing about the most recent OTA. You have to (unfortunately) monitor them yourself.
I bought my car preowned.

i have no idea what the last update was or if I’m on the most current version.

i think 23297 means 2023 - 29 - 7

I'd recommend posting in this thread. Someone there can look up your VIN to check your Sync (APIM) version.

Yesterday I received 6.14 in Romania. I have a Mustang 21 AWD ex. The update refers to YouTube in the parking lot and some small changes. That's all... No google maps and preconditioning

Do we have any update from the EA guys & gals that finally received BC 1.3? Is it working? Has Ford continued the roll-out? I don't believe I've heard anything on the forum since the initial 2021's in the EA received the update. Has Ford Continued rolling it out or are we at another stand-still??

#FordCommunicationsUGH!!
No idea if the rollout is continuing beyond EA, but my car received BC 1.3 mid-December and I am happy with the results. For some reason it was estimated to take over two hours in the beginning, but finished in a little over one hour. On the roads I travel frequently it is able to stay hands-free longer as advertised; it still positions a bit right of center rather than right in the middle within the lane, but I have given up on that; lane changes work as expected.

ECG-24.2.5.6.3 just arrived.
I got that one also today. I see that ECG-24.2.5.6.2 came out a month or two ago and I saw something saying there are .1 .2 and .3 versions. Could it be that the .3 version is for 2021 MMEs and Yugos

No OTA updates for our FE since 05/2024 however after a 3 week slumber ECG-24.2.5.6.3 is currently downloading after waking up the Mach-E.

My 2021 hasn’t gotten an OTA update since August 2023.

^^not a typo.

I remember when we got updates every couple weeks. Either Ford thinks they’ve fixed all the bugs (yes it’s way better) or they’ve kinda moved on from the earlier models.

Have you asked someone to look up your VIN in the FDRS thread? Some 2021s not in EAP are getting updates, so maybe it's an issue with your vehicle.

Yeah, done all the things. It’s a Ford server end issue and nothing the dealer can do either.

Some of us got stuck with the wrong version of the gateway module. Ford supposedly has to manually fix it but……. Only a few ever got fixed.

Manually, meaning via FDRS? @rugedraw "rented" out equipment to forum member in the past to DIY it, if that's an option.

The dealer pushed updates manually twice.

But yes, they can’t update my gateway module. It’s stuck with the -LKB ending.

My vehicle connectivity also only works about half the time. From talking with Ford employees it sounds like they’re well aware of the issue and nothing I can do but wait.

Is your warranty still covering this service or are you paying for these updates at the Dealer?

Last one I recieved was 10.1.1 back in October 2024.
It seems to have no problems with 23 and 24. I just haven't heard of 22s getting 10.1.0/10.1.1. It's strange, since last week we started to see 2021s receiving those.
