I think I will just call my MME GT-PE ”The Mach-E.” ?

Of course, that woulf require that it actually gets built and delivered. As of now, it’s just “nonexistent.” ? Grumpy grumpy grumpy!

Step aside from your knowledge of Flight of the Navigator, and Ford's name for the paint color...

Do you see what I see?

Did the state approve this request?

Meh. No.

It's a car. It's a nice one. But it's a car. Take care of it and use it for the job it's intended for. My wife calls it the Mustang. I call it the Mach-e. That's what it is (more or less) Everything else is just fluff.
What do your young children call it?

Since mine is going to be red, I'm thinking Ruby. (Cue the Kaiser Chiefs Ruby song now)

Yep, I don't name my cars. This one is "the Mach-E", to differentiate it from "the Lexus" and "the Jetta".

Pale Rider...which only makes sense if you consider the driver, not the car (Its red...).

Sally.
As in Mustang ...
May require a bit of age to get that one, but couldn't think of anything else.

I would name mine. . . . Seabiscuit
What about E Biscuit?

Sall E is the other possibility for my car.

Just hoping it doesn’t take as long to gestate as each of my children did. We’ll have to wait for its arrival to see if it’s a girl or a boy.

My Grabber Blue First Edition came home on Friday. I’ve decided to name him Miles. I’m a musician, and a big Miles Davis fan. I figured Miles was an appropriate name for several reasons. Those familiar with Miles Davis’ music know his music has 3 moods paralleling the Mach-e drive modes of Whisper, Engaged and Unbridled. His trademark sound–trumpet with Harmon mute–is rather similar to the car’s electric propulsion sound. His distinctive voice was usually an intense level of whisper. His music was groundbreaking and startling and inventive–just like the Mach-e. I regard my car–like Davis–as a bit mysterious, and likely to do his own thing now and then, which I will simply have to respect as part of our relationship. And aside from the name “Miles” having an obvious automotive connotation, the color is “Kind of Blue”, which was the title of the landmark 1959 album by Davis. I plan on enjoying Miles’ company for many years to come.
Miles is my favorite musician also. Good choice.
