What level 2 charger is everyone purchasing for home use?

Autel MaxiCharger AC Wallbox Home 40A - NEMA 14-50 - EV Charger. A relatively new product but the company is well established. $559.95 from Amazon or direct from Autel USA. This is a smart charger with a 3 year warranty and Energy Star compliant. This product is eligible for a $300 rebate from my local electric utility (PNM New Mexico). There are a few recent reviews on Youtube (Mache VLOG for one). I ordered directly from Autel and it is on its way.

Just gettin used to the Wallbox. It will support your use case with a single schedule that begins at 9 PM and ends at 4 PM.

It is very unlikely to be UL approved because the cord with the plug is too long. I think it needs to be around 1 foot long like the ones that are approved.

EVSE cords can be longer than 1’ and still meet UL listing standards and the NEC as long as the plug has built-in GFCI protection.

I live in Portland and needed an outdoor charger that could stand up to weather. Bought and had a Grizzl-E installed. Works great. Absolutely zero complaints. Only hiccup I've had was a power outage put it into some sort of fault mode. I flipped the breaker at the fuse box and it was fine.

I don't need any smart utilities. Car and app take care of that.
