It is funny. I actually thought about this very thing when I placed my initial reservation right after the announcement. I think I have to play Fall Out Boy's album "From Under the Cork Tree." I have memories of playing that album while driving around my 2005 Mustang GT back when I had it and, even though the Mach E is a much more <ahem> practical vehicle than the GT was, I am hoping to bring back a quick flashback to the good old days of that car that I loved so much.

No music: California Route 1 so no B&O sound system and I now very rarely listen to music.

Back prior to the pandemic mess we find ourselves in I would listen to podcasts during my commute. I'm not commuting now so I'm a good 3-4 months behind on my podcast listening....

It is likely that I'll still be working from home when the Mach-E arrives and thus the first thing I will do is turn off the radio (and turn off any extra noise the car will want to make).

I may even take phone calls in the Mach-E, if it's quiet enough. Background noise really screws up my ability to discern voices clearly. Even in our Escapes, which are probably a bit better than average at reducing noise, still have too much noise for me to comfortably follow a conversation. So I just ended up disconnecting the phone altogether.

I'll be disappointed if the Mach-E isn't VERY quiet (I know there will always be some road noise from the tires though).
