My oldest son and wife laughed on me when they saw racing stripes on our GT. Me and my yangest son was very excited with the new sporty look. Unfortunately, while I learned more about my GT I came to conclusion that legendary racing stripes doesn’t fit properly to the MME and I removed them.
I like how stripes look from the front and especially on the hood, but from the rear end not so much. To many curved body lines affecting badly the whole view. Another issue it is the glass roof It’s impossible to install stripes on top. And finally main reason why I think so is 5 sec limit.

It’s personal preference. I like racing stripes but wouldn’t put them on my MME. I think rim change and painted calipers would be a better look.

I had blue stripes on my white Celica. It was a fun car. I was contemplating stripes on my blue MME, but decided against them. 🤔🐩

As the first owner to ever stripe an electric mustang, I approve of all stripes. Show your individuality proudly.

Stripes serve two functional purposes.

1) minimize glare into the driver‘s eyes at certain angles.
2) driver in front has a better idea where you are in a race

and the cars just look better with them.

I thought adding a "-R" at the end of the car model added some horsepower, no? lol

I'm a fan of the blue on white obviously. Plus it makes it stand out from every other white crossover on the road.

I think stripes like this belong on sports cars not mid-size cross over suvs like the Mach-E. They look ridiculous on a vehicle like this.
Stripes are for racing heritage, to which the Mach E has none. Sure, they put the "Mustang" name on it, but this car has nothing to do with the racing heritage of Ford.

Racing stripes do not belong on SUVs just as much as they don't belong on an RV camper, semi-truck, motorcycle, you name it.

At the end of the day, do what you want with your own car, but certain things you do can be considered tacky and some can be considered classy, so long as you're ok with peoples' opinion of your car then go for it!

(if you add an exhaust pipe to an EV because you like the look, that's cheesy as hell but completely within your rights to do whatever you want - just don't expect people to think it looks nice, same can be said with adding truck nutz to the back of your Mach E - completely within your rights, but it's corny as hell)

Today my neighbor, who is older then me and a big fan of classic cars, approached to me and said - "I glad your removed the racing stripes. I like your car, but honestly racing stripes was too much".
