I have a 48A Ford Connected Charge Station. This afternoon, I plugged my car in when it was down to about 40% and about 96 miles of range. According to the app, it's been plugged in 7 hours, 37 minutes and added 90 miles. This seems very slow. Any thoughts on why? I thought with a 240V 48A charger, you were supposed to get roughly 30 miles per hour of charge?

Does the Ford charging station show you in the app how much power it’s drawing?

What percentage is it up to? Do you have charging times programmed? Maybe check in the fordpass app to see what it says about when the charging started and when it expects to complete

I’ll ask the obvious question, I’m presuming it’s hard wired to a 60 amp circuit (so that it can actually draw 48 amps)?

I have no idea if the power level is dip switches or soft settings, but also maybe check to see if the charger dropped down to thinking it's on a lower amperage circuit than 60 (ie 48A draw)?

No charging times programmed. I'm getting this information from the FordPass App and it says charging started at 1:37 PM and is expected to complete at 12:20 AM. So far it now has 77%

Not that I could find - I thought about that.

Good question (the first thing I always ask is "Are you sure it's plugged in?" :D ) Yes, hardwired to a 60A breaker. All nice and neatly installed by an electrician. And in FordPass it shows that the Max Charge current for the Connected Charge Station is 48A.

Hmm, Maybe unplug from the car and then pop the breaker off and back on? When all else fails, reboot!

To be honest, it's not that big of a deal, since I'm not going to need the car until tomorrow morning's Starbuck's run and Starbucks is 1 mile away from my home. I'm curious as to whether or not the few other FCCS owners have observed similar behavior.

Is this a 77% from the app or in the car?

Open FordPass, tap the "..." in the lower right corner. Pick "Your Charge Station" from the menu, then tap "Settings".

What does it display for Max Charge Current?

I tried to check your DIP switches from the photo but it wasn't quite focused well enough for me to be confident in the settings.

The photo here shows the correct DIP switches for 48 amp charging (60 amp circuit breaker).
