What's going on with NACS charging adapters never shipping?

Ordered my NACS adapter March 1. "Estimated Ship" date keeps being moved to later month after later month. Was hoping in March to at least have it for December holiday trips, but I guess not.

What is happening with these adapters that takes over 9 months to deliver? Sure; they're "free", but promising anything to a customer, even if "free", and never delivering the promise is crappy.

Got both of mine last week. Ordered Feb 28 2024. Order ending # 9904. I was told they had problems at the border getting them through to Canada.

Purolator from ETOBICOKE, ON. Sounds like they were bulk shipped to ETOBICOKE, ON. then shipped to customers from there.

Why to go Ford! You did it! Now to find something new to complain about.....

1. They’re built by Tesla in Buffalo, NY. They build other stuff there as well, adapters is not their primary focus atm at the Buffalo Gigafactory.

2. GM, Rivian, and KIA (iirc) are all in line with Ford. They can only build so many.

3. Ford ships when they receive a batch. They ship in the same order as the reservation was made. Unless you live in Canada, then you get to complain,

4. There was a recall by Tesla of many adapters shipped in June. They got to cut to the head of the line.

5. There are third party alternatives that are available now. If you need one, order it assp,. A2Z is shipping their orders out fast as I recall. Perhaps Lectron as well.

A ME owner for 4 years, i also ordered an adapter and have been waiting for 9 mos but I really dont care if I ever receive it because many other lower $/kwhr options available

I just received by ordered March 1st yesterday. Original delivery was August, then September, October, November and when checked end of Nobermber slipped again until December.

Lo and behold it arrived without notice on Dec 8th.

Have not tried it out yet as 95% of my charging is in my garage. Thinking of road trip from Southern California to Sacramento in April. Will be a good test for this adapter. Will definitely try out prior to the trip..

Hi, I got a shipping notice from Ford for my adapter this week. Looks like there's finally some movement on this NACS access.

Well, maybe there is hope for us. We received our original adapter back in July but then got the email not to use it and a new one would ship out soon. I think this notification was back in November so still waiting here.

I've received my 3rd Ford adapter today. This time it came with a bag and instructions on how to return the bad one, but no return label...
