Getting my RWD select in a month and was wondering what mi/kwh are people getting in their MME RWD. I currently have Ioniq 5 AWD and getting 3.7 mi/kwh (3.3 hwy/4.1 city) in moderate Cali weather.

I can get 3.7 in good weather with my CA Rt1 in a tailwind ;)

In winter its more like 2.7.

My summer average is more like 3.3 or so.

My RWD standard range premium usually gets around 3.7 to 4.1 in city driving. 2.8 to 3.4 if I'm on the hwy keeping up with traffic (75 to 85 mph).

3.7 mi/kwh so far after 2539 miles! Northern Virginia and got her in December so will probably see an increase as the warmer weather begins to stay!

I have a RWD ID4 and was getting about 2.9 in winter months. About a month ago I was averaging 3.2-3.4. And this past week it’s been consistently over 60F and I am getting over 4 mi/KWh. I typically drive about 50 miles each way to work. 30 miles at 70mph and 20 miles about 40mph.
Yesterday I drove about 120 miles all at about 40-50mph on back roads and got 4.5 mi/kWh. I was being somewhat hyper miler focused. My GT will have a larger battery so I am hopeful I can get similar efficiency. We will see.

This is what we get with our Select also. If we go windows down around town we can get 4.8 to 5.1 keeping it under 35mph but that is rare.

Nice I'm surprised MME efficiency is that high based on posts the last few months must have been just weather. The MME SR is the same weight as ioniq 5, would make sense they have pretty similar efficiency. The ER is probably less efficient because of weight.

If the bouncy ride isn't an issue I will switch to MME. My wife can get the i5 she doesn't care too much what she drives.

Select RWD here in the OC:
  • Local streets = Me driving = 3.7 - 4.1, Wife driving = 4.5 - 5.1.
  • Freeway = 3.3 - 3.9 for the both of us (70-75mph with spurts of "80").
  • GOM readings estimates once the weather was warmer = 247 - 302.
  • Our lifetime (Trip 2) since taking delivery = 4.1 mi/kwh. Tire psi set to 38/39.

11,000 miles in we're averaging 3.7 mi/kWh, as reported by 'Trip 2' tracking lifetime usage.*

We got our MME last July so 10 months ago and expect that to tick up slightly with spring weather upon us.

Extended range, RWD Premium

*21P22 erased all of our 'Trip' data.... grr.... so have got a file to keep tabs on our monthly and lifetime usage.
