Hi all, I have some dumb questions that I have spent a fair bit of time researching but really haven't figured out, so I am going to piss people off and add another thread:

- I would like to upgrade my wheels and not my tires and as I look at other websites, most show a size of 19x8, but I read on this forum that the OEM wheel size is 19x8...are they interchangeable?
- Do I need to buy a separate TPMS?
- Do I need to hook up said TPMS to anything?

Your tires are 225/55/19 and your wheels are 19x7. You can use 19x8 wheels if you want but should not go any wider than 8" wheel for your tires as per Michelin's specs on that tire.

Not sure what you mean buying a separate TPMS. You can take the ones out of your OEM wheels and put them in the new wheels you are buying or just buy a new set of TPMS's. The new TPMS's will in most cases automatically pair with the system in the car and if not, you can teach them to easily.
