Yes, sir. In between 2.4.1 and 2.4.3, my vehicle visited a local dealer for glass recalls, CSP 21B36 (RFA), and CSP 21P22 (PCM, SOBDM, BECM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC, ABS, BCM, OBCC, DCME, DCMF, DCMG, DCMH, RFA).

I never got Power-Up 2.4.2. The car or the server probably determined that it'd be useless.

I guess this is an example of why knowing one's "Power-Up" level isn't the full picture... Module updates could be installed at the factory, by dealers, by enthusiast "technicians," or via OTA.

I think folks want to know about OBSERVABLE or measurable differences in vehicle functionality, whether those updates to functional differences are available to their vehicles, and how to get them (if available/applicable). I don't think knowing about "Power-Up 2.4.2" is useful. As reality TV shows teach us time and time again, one's outside packaging attracts audiences and ad revenues, but what's really important is what's on the inside. ;)

If the forum wants to put together a comprehensive update table, I have a suggestion for what that might look like... But I'm not interested in assembling it. It leads to too much FOMO and forum bickering and I don't want to be a part of that... Doesn't bring me happiness. :(

Anyway... it'd look something like this, with the EARLIEST observed date gathered from forum member postings for each possible delivery mechanism (factory, OTA, technician):

Date of First Observation
functional differencefactory assemblyOTA updatedealer/hobbyist technician
"OK" dismissal hint in IPC messagesJune 2021February 2022 (Power-Up 2.4.3)---
BlueCruise hands free highway drivingJune 2021------
PaaK reliability update attempt #4April 2021---June 2021
etc...
This seems to be a decent update table:

Per the poll, it looks like BlueCruise updates are starting to trickle out to non-Early Access vehicles.

I'm wondering if this is people getting OTAs or people just installing with FDRS

I didn’t think you could install software not authorized for your VIN via FDRS?

Lately they've been releasing via FDRS before OTA... I've installed at least up to 2.5.1 but I'm not in any early access program and no OTA available yet.

It has been authorized for my vin, but not distributed via OTA yet

I'm in EA and haven't had an update since 2.4.1. I assume this is normal based on the poll?

I'm in EA and at 2.5.3. BTW, I don't notice any apparent difference between 2.5.2 vs. 2.5.3.

I did also learn that not *all* cars will have exactly the same software updates. It varies based on vehicle configuration. So it may not be safe to assume the number that got to BlueCruise for a different car will be the same for *your* car. (Although so far, 2.5.2 is the number where BlueCruise seemed to go active for most of those that I have read about.)

These updates to EAP cars are happening in waves. If your car wasn't in the current wave, don't panic. Not all EAP cars are going through at the same time.

Any more updates on the March 18 EAP group?
