Whisper vs unbridled rolling

Has anyone noticed that in unbridled mode the car breaks when you release the accelerator even if you don’t have one pedal driving or auto hold on? Much more so than in whisper mode? I even see the regen bar go up a lot more in unbridled. Is it some safety thing or is it forcing the regen to save on battery?

It’s designed to feel extremely similar to driving a V8. The first time I used it, I immediately flashed back to my brother’s Mustang Cobra 20 years earlier. Just without the exploding dinosaur roar.

One question, how do you get the regen to show on your display.

Yes.

You have different amounts of regen based on the mode. The GT also has a power gauge where you can see it.

The power gauge only shows for GT and GTPE models.
